Rapid-Website
The world's fastest web generator

How it works

The traditional way of developing a website

Usually when somebody (let’s say you) wants a website to be created, all you actually need is a programmer (web developer) and a graphic developer.

  • The graphic developer supply the programmer with the graphics files (usually an Adobe Photoshop file)
  • And you supply the programmer with the content of the website (usually by emailing it to him in a Microsoft Word attachment)
  • And the programmer turns these inputs (graphics & content) into website code.

The Rapid-website way

Rapid-website replaces the programmer. A graphic developer supply Rapid-website with the graphics (which needs only to be done once, by converting it in a Rapid-website template). And you supply Rapid-website with the content.

All you actually need to do is just to store all your MS-Word documents in one folder (the input folder). And then when you run Rapid-website just tell the program which document will be the first page on your website (the home page). Rapid-website will then do all the magic of generating your website and even automatically update it for you on the internet too.

Each MS-Word document in your folder represents one web page (which will automatically be created in the website menu). If you would like to create drop down menus (submenus), just create subfolders in the main MS-Word input folder, and throw the MS-Word document for the submenu in there.

This website was 100% generated the same way. To see for yourself, click here to download the source folder for this website. You can download the Rapid-website program also and use this input folder on it and it will generate the same what you see here.
